What is Formation?

These courses of study are for adults seeking to be formed by the faith of the Catholic Church. Formation is more than receiving information on the teachings of the Church. As the Church teaches, “the goal of Catholic education is to prepare hearts using the language of love, dialogue, and service” (ACBO Reviewing the Promise, 2018).

Therefore, these Formation courses are systematic in approach and pastoral in nature.

Echoes of Faith: Emmaus Edition forms adult disciples as catechists who accompany others to have an encounter with the person of Jesus Christ.
